Hi 👋 I’m an independent developer, and this privacy policy is written by a real human — me. I build Heartlab apps with care and a strong belief that software should feel helpful and respectful, not creepy or invasive.

This policy applies to all Heartlab apps, including client and trainer applications.

1. What data I collect

I collect only the data required for the apps to function as intended. Depending on the app and your role (client or trainer), this may include:

• Account information — such as a login identifier, needed to sign in and associate data with your account.
• User-generated content — photos, videos, and training data that you intentionally upload.
• Basic technical data — app version, device type, and crash logs, so I can fix things when they break.
• Push notification tokens — used only if notifications are enabled, so your device knows where to send them.

2. What I do NOT collect

I do not collect:

• your real name (unless you explicitly provide it);
• your precise location;
• your contacts;
• data unrelated to the app’s functionality;
• what you’re thinking about at 2 AM.

In short — I collect what’s needed to make the app work, and nothing beyond that.

3. How your data is used

Your data is used solely to provide the app’s core functionality: training tracking, progress history, media uploads, and communication between client and trainer. I do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

Some apps may use privacy-friendly third-party services for essential features, such as:

• push notification delivery;
• crash reporting and diagnostics.

These services collect limited technical data necessary to operate. They do not receive access to your personal content or training history.

5. Data storage and security

I take reasonable measures to protect your data and store it securely. That said, no system is 100% invulnerable — so while I do my best, I can’t promise absolute perfection.

6. Your choices

• You can disable notifications in your device settings.
• You can stop using the app at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting me.

7. Children’s privacy

Heartlab apps are not intended for children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the date at the top will change. Significant updates may also be communicated within the app.
